GO-MX started in 2013. My brother-in-law, Steve and I were just two local weekend warriors at the time. It was difficult to get all the kit we needed in one place, so we’d spend days driving around trying to find what we were after.
That’s when we saw the need for an MX store that offered all the gear a rider could need, at affordable prices. We wanted guys to be able to come here and get kitted. Less shopping, more riding!

Not only is it convenient for riders who need to buy gear, but it also exposes our brand to a whole range of riders, from amateurs to pros.
GO-MX hasn’t missed an MX race event in three years – we’ve been at every regional and national MX event at Zone 7 since 2013. We’re proud sponsors of the MX 85cc Class and we’ll continue to support the Zone 7 events in the future.
can you buy essays online Moto ZA: GO-MX is based in Table view, Cape Town. It started out in a small garage and has now moved to new premises on Blaauwberg Road, not far from where it all started. A big step forward for you and you company. How did you guys grow?
We started in the back of a small surf shop in Sunningdale and were there for about six months. It became clear that it wasn’t the right location for us. We then moved to a small, rustic garage on Blaauwberg Road and traded there for two years.
As with any fledgling business, things started off slowly. At that time, we were only open three days a week and we had some very, price flamingo essay very quiet days. But we were committed and put customer service at the center of everything we did. Awareness of our store spread and we started to see business pick up. It was slow, steady growth, but it was growth!
We started introducing new brands and expanding our product offering. Through marketing and social media, we started to reach more riders and grow our customer base. Then one day we had customers queuing out our door and we realized that we needed a bigger shop!
So, this year we shifted up a few blocks on Blaauwberg Road into a more spacious store, which has boosted business again. GO-MX continues to grow, and now we trade six days a week with our online store open 24/7.

We cater for anyone who rides a dirt bike – our main market being the South African rider. Being online means we reach a wide audience and we have a lot of customers in Namibia as well as all over Africa.

Yes, Fox SA awarded us an autographed Ryan Dundgey number board for being the Fastest Growing MX Store in SA – something we’re extremely proud of.
